The software utilizes the RS232 port and acts as an interface between the programming software and the machine control. It is suitable for various types of machines, including those used for sheet metal processing (such as laser cutting and punching) as well as other types like lathes or milling machines.
More organized with Computes Group's DNC software
Ability to transmit an entire production bill of materials (list of programs to be executed). Ability to decide the transmission order of the programs.
Computes AXI DNC ADVANCED
AXI DNC advanced is the advanced version of Computes AXI DNC.
- Compatible with any punching machine or laser cutting machine.
- When a file is selected, the DNC software provides information about the type of sheet metal chosen for that process (material, thickness, size, etc.) and the selected punches/tools. It also indicates the individual pieces that make up the nesting. There is no need to enter each individual process to view the work list.
- Indicates the completion of various processes.
- Allows you to compile and save the production bill of materials in memory, saving time when loading files for repeated productions of the same product at different times.
- Provides real-time visualization on a PC Supervisor station (e.g., from the technical office) for compiling the BOM, remotely loading, and monitoring transmission progress.
- Tracks the progress of file transmission, marking les that have been fully transmitted as “completed” and indicating those currently in the transmission phase.
- Offers the flexibility to choose the order of file transmission.
Advantages
› Optimize production and save over 70% of setup times thanks to automated tool management for punching machines: the DNC software checks the punches selected for the operations and relates them to the turret configuration thanks to the connection with Computes AXI CAM to find a common setup that can satisfy the entire bill.
› The program automatically modifies the tool positions directly in the NC so as to work with a single on-board warehouse or with the smallest possible number of tool replacements.
› If it is not possible to work with a single on-board warehouse, the DNC program prints a sequence of the various warehouses required, specifying when and where to make the tool changes.
